*** Fantastic Fundraising!  A Grand Total of £6572.37! ***

Thank you and Congratulations to you all on an amazing year of fundraising for our school charity, the St. George Foundation. From all the different events throughout the year, including our fun-filled charity day on St George’s Day in April, which made a huge £4254.3 and also each year group’s very successful enterprise schemes, together we have raised an incredible £6572.37!

Well done everyone! It’s all to see on the school’s Just Giving website.

Mr Philip Dean, came into the school assembly on Monday 6th July to receive a presentation cheque for the then total of £6026.41 from our two year 6 school councillors.

He said that they would be putting the money we’ve raised towards buying a ‘new’ double cab tipper truck, which they desperately need for transporting the children and also supplies.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who very kindly donated clothes and shoes to be sent in a container to the St George Foundation’s centre in Freetown.
