Year 6 R.E. unit Incarnation  

What would it be like if there was someone who could save us from our worries and problems?  What if there was a saviour?  Was Jesus the Messiah?  Once the children had explored what being a saviour meant, we worked as detectives to gather evidence from images, extracts from the Bible and then who better than Reverend Nick Whitehouse and Jill Phipps to offer their Christian perspective and allow the children to ask further questions.  The children began to realise that they often act as saviours to one another on a daily basis just by offering love and friendship, especially to the younger children within our school community.
